Dustin Back

Dustin Back brings over a decade of alternative investment experience to A111. Dustin is an active investor and brings his experience in sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities. Prior to building his own portfolio, Dustin worked nine years within the physical commodity trading industry with Trafigura. He spent the last three years in Geneva, Switzerland as a derivatives trader on the LNG desk. In addition to his trading role, he built financial models for LNG investments. Prior to his time in Switzerland, Dustin worked on the oil and petroleum products trading floor in finance, operations, fundamental analysis and derivatives trading. Currently, he serves as Chief Financial Officer at one of the businesses in his portfolio, StartBox, LLC, a healthcare technology company. 

Dustin received a BBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas and is an MBA candidate at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
